Coach mentoringI am a strong advocate for the power and impact coaching offers to clients ready to move out of their comfort zone and aim for a great life.

As a coach, I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing mentors, and I now act as a mentor for new coaches, “paying it forward” as an expression of gratitude to them.  I am a life-long learner, as I feel every coach must be in order to best serve their clients.  My background before beginning my coach training was that of serial entrepreneur, instructor, project manager and sales representative.  My success in these different roles was the result of an insatiable curiosity, asking many questions and listening closely to what was being said, and what was not being said, using a coaching approach to co-create the plan of action even before I knew what coaching was.

  • I have been coaching since 2004 and maintaining a full time coaching practice since 2006.
  • I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF), the gold standard in coach credentialing throughout the world.
  • I graduated from the ADD Coach Academy, continued my training with the Center for Coaching Mastery at Coachville and I am a life-long learner.
  • I am a member of, and have served on the Management Committee as Treasurer for the Fédération Internationale des coachs du Québec of the ICF for four years, leading several projects to promote the development of coaching in Quebec.
  • I served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC).
  • As a member of ICF and in my role on the Board of Directors for PAAC, whose credentialing is based on ICF criteria with additional criteria for ADHD Coaches, I am fully aware and conformant of the ICF’s requirements for certification as well as Concordia University’s mentoring requirements.
  • Travel time is minimal as I am trained and have many years of experience coaching individuals and groups remotely.

“I was mentored by Linda Walker, PCC while pursuing my training as a professional coach.  The experience was one that engendered a professional relationship of trust, support and the transfer of knowledge while adhering to the standards and ethics of ICF Coaching models.  Linda demonstrated throughout a keen knowledge of ICF Core Competencies with respect to training as a new coach, as well as an awareness of kindred experience.

Open, professional and generous of spirit and expertise, Linda Walker provided a rich and encompassing support that complemented my training as a new coach. Although our professional exchanges took place solely by telephone, the experience wove itself seamlessly into my training and I will never forget it.”
